About The CV Store
The UK's leading CV writing company since 2001
Having started trading online in 2001, The CV Store has grown year-on-year, building lasting relationships with individuals, corporate clients and recruitment companies throughout the world. Our main objective was then, and still is today, to provide industry leading CVs and cover letters, coupled with an extensive library of articles to help you create and / or improve your own CV.
International experience and industry-wide expertise
Over the past few years, The CV Store has earned a reputation as an industry-leader in CV writing and general careers advice. Evidence of this can be found through partnerships we have with numerous job sites worldwide - including a recent contract with a major UK energy supplier to create CVs for redeployed staff. We are also CV writing experts to a global provider of resettlement options, with offices in the UK, the USA, New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia.
The CV Store has also featured in the 2011 book, 'Get The Job You Really Want' written by James Caan from the BBC's Dragons' Den TV series.

Free advice for those not seeking a professional re-write
More often than not, out of hundreds applicants for one position, less than 2% of CVs reach the interview pile. A key aspect of writing a CV is down to how well you have highlighted what you do and have done, and what you have achieved - and how well this matches up to a specific profile a recruiter is searching for. The free advice offered on this website is provided to help you achieve these goals.
Supporting Charlotte's Bag
We actively support Charlotte’s BAG via monthly donations. Charlotte's BAG is one of the UK's only charities focussing on raising funds for research into glioblastoma (brain cancer). Almost always terminal, its rapid effect is even more noticeable in those aged under 25, because the plasticity of the developing brain makes treatment (delaying onset or palliative) even more challenging.
Brain cancer is vastly underfunded, with only 1% of annual spending going towards research into cancers of the brain. Unlike other cancers which have had significant investment and increases in survival rates, brain cancer treatments have not progressed since the late 90s, when chemotherapy drug, temozolomide was introduced.
Charlotte sadly died from glioblastoma in February 2016, just a week after her 19th birthday – but before her death Charlotte made a difference to thousands of other young cancer sufferers. We are now supporting Charlotte's BAG by making monthly donations from a percentage of our sales.
