CV Service Terms

Before you confirm your agreement to these terms, please make sure you understand all of the below points. Should you have any questions, please contact us before making an order.


After making an order, you will receive an email asking what your new CV is needed for. At this point, we will request example job specifications for us to target and to optimise your CV’s keywords in line with ATS systems (where needed). If your new CV doesn't have a specific target, let us know and we'll keep it speculative.

Following the first draft, you have the opportunity to review and refine your new CV. All CV packages (excluding CV revamps) include a period of 12 months’ free support. This covers: the addition of new jobs and qualifications and minor tweaks to existing content. For a complete change of focus / career change, charges will be applicable. All free changes are subject to a fair use policy.


All turnaround times are calculated from the time we have received your current CV and / or completed questionnaire and details of your target role. This will be clarified via email. If making an order outside of office hours, this will automatically roll forwards to the next working day.


At no point do we promise your new CV will guarantee you an interview. Job seeking is a complex process and securing a new role is based on many factors. Instead, we promise we'll do everything within our expertise to ensure your new CV is sufficiently targeted and highlights your relevant skills. Please think carefully before engaging services claiming to "guarantee" an interview.


CV writing is not an exact science and we're aware that people have differing views on what is a "good" CV. We promise that we, as a company with over 16 years' experience in CV writing, will provide the best possible advice. CV writing fees are generally non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of our service (we do not use templates or "stock" content) and due to the fact it is a product that cannot be resold. It is at the Manager's discretion to offer a partial / full refund. All refunds granted will be charged a refund fee of 20% the purchase price. Refunds will not be granted after 30 days following the order completion date.

All CVs are produced from information supplied by the client and The CV Store will not be held liable for any misrepresentation resulting from missing, outdated, false or dishonest information being supplied.


No content on this site may be copied / distributed without the express permission of The CV Store. In addition, this website contains links to external sites and we do not recommend / warrant any products, or services found.


The only information we collect about you is the information you supply in connection with your CV and any emails you send us. We are fully opposed to spam and will never release, sell or redistribute your details to anyone, ever! We are fully registered Data Controllers (registration number: Z2062591).

Your personal information will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to any third parties. Personal information will only be collected for the purposes of processing your order and providing you with the best possible service.
