 Hi there I've just spent the entire sunny day trying to finish of 3 raduate applications and I have now got a serious mind block for one of the competency based questions can any one help?
Give an example of a time when you have had to convince others round to your way of thinking. What resistance did you face? How did your overcome this? How did the others react?
much appreciated :D |

lol...one of the hottest days of the year and it's been spent completion an application form.
from previous experience, i found that they are not necessarily looking for an answer which relates to a job - it could be litrally anything! for example, you could have been a major part of a project in University which required you to take charge, make changes and keep everyone happy...i might be wrong and i am sure ther'll be more help along shortly. |

Welcome to our forums, Stephie!
Yes, Firestorm is correct in that you could use any example as an answer here. Being a recent student, there must have been a situation at some point where you worked as part of, or even managed, a team through a project? Use this example to demonstrate your team working and organisation skills, as well as communication and presentation. |
