I think when you go for an interview it is important that you not try to act like you know everything. Of course, you want the interviewer to realize that you know what you are doing and would lhave a lot to offer the company. You also want them to know that you are always willing to learn new things in order to do even better for the business.

You're right!
In all my previous interviews, I used to tell to the interviewer that I'm very much willing to gain more knowledge and skills as well as share all the things that I've learned to others. I'm glad she was impressed.

That's good advice.

I tend to use a variation of this, where, if asked the dreaded 'What is your biggest flaw' question, I'll answer something like 'Well, until recently, I was pretty bad at prioritising things, but a colleague gave me this really useful tip about how he makes a special form of to-do list that includes details about how long tasks take, what they require, etc - I tried it out, and I have to admit, it works really well'.

So, I'm giving a flaw that I used to have, and showing that I took advice and conquered it - so far nobody has turned that back to me and said 'So what do you think is your biggest flaw now you've sorted that one'.

It is all in the context of the question. Most companies are looking for someone who will work well on a team. It sounds cliche but if you come across as someone who is not willing to fit in with the established group, even if you don't necessarily agree with all established rules, your chances are going to be slim. No one wants to hire someone who is going to be trouble from the get go and always looking to buck the established crew.
