Arrive at work and check e-mails. Respond as appropriate to enquires and print out information e-mails and file as appropriate. Check and respond to any voicemails left from yesterday.

Meeting to discuss the IMandT requirements of a new service starting in the NHS which connects primary care with the hospital. Measure the proposed office and check whether there are enough network and electrical points.

Re-check and respond to e-mails. Deal with enquiries and problems.

Meet with Practice Manager to discuss problems experienced as a result of a PC refresh carried out in the surgery and to discuss the pros and cons of the practice in moving to a new computer system.

Drive back to office and catch up on e-mails / voicemails.

Attend Service Development meeting and give a presentation of the IMandT developments in the last 6 months.

Respond to e-mails and prepare paperwork for tomorrows meetings. Deal with enquires and problems.

Drive to clinic for meeting with Maternity IT Manager from the hospital.

Meet with Maternity IT Manager and give update on progress of rolling out PCT IT Networks into outreach clinics. Test connectivity to hospital network using a laptop computer and patch in a couple of network points in the midwifery room.

Drive back to office.

Final check of e-mails and voicemails responding as appropriate. Gather bits ready for the 08:30 meeting on Monday. Load into car.
