When the parameters change....

What would you do if a job's parameters change to include requirements that weren't required when you got the job?

What if you suddenly had to submit to drug testing or a background check where none of these things were required before?

I think I would explore the possibilities of collecting unemployment because my job had been eliminated.

    What options would you explore

This would really bother me, not because I have anything to hide but because things changed so much.

I would think that most people would do what the company asked to keep their job. I probably would too but wouldn't be happy. I might try looking or another job but wouldn't quite until I found one.

  3. I wouldn't like it either and would probably start looking for another job. I also wouldn't like it if my job description was to change in such a way that I had new tasks to perform that I really didn't care to do such as cleaning or training others.

I think I would see what my options were, with the state's labor board.

Even though I have nothing to hide, I don't think I would submit to any drug testing. I find it invasive and believe it should be outlawed unless you work with dangerous machinery or are a driver in public transportation of some sort.
