How old were you when you found your first job? Were you in high school or college? Or maybe you were 8 years old opening that lemonade stand in front of your house?
My first job making money was baby-sitting. I guess I was about 13 years old. I liked baby-sitting because all the money I made was my own.
The funny thing is, I kept on baby-sitting right through college as well. It was a good way to earn money and study when the baby was sleeping.

For me, it depends on the job as to what age is the best age to apply for a job. I started my current job at the ripe old age of 60. It's working out very well for my current circumstances. It would not have been "the" job for me 10 or 20 years ago.
