Does anyone have any good anecdotes about their most embarrassing interview moment, either as the interviewer or interviewee?
I was interviewing after finishing university, going to an interview with an employment agency when I saw an old high school friend on my way into the building. We briefly exchanged greetings and I told him where I was going and that I had to run. During my interview, the interviewer stops speaking and looks distracted. She says "Excuse me" and stands up, reaching across my shoulder to take a note from someone. I thought to myself "Oh how rude of that person to interrupt her during my interview" when she said "Oh wait, this is for you."
The note said "When you're finished, come to the 4th floor so we can catch up. - David"
I was very embarrassed and apologized for his lack of consideration.
