Just thought I'd let you in on a funny story:
I had an interview booked with William Hill. The was booked in January having sent my application, CV etc. I thought...repeat....thought Id be able to remember the date, however, I ended up turning up to the interview one day early!
Luckily, the manager was available and did the interview anyway but to be honest, I got the impression he wasn't too impressed!
Am I alone in doing this....I certainly hope not!
I think I've experienced the same thing. And I got the position after the interview. I made it as easy as that because the owner was a family friend.
Peter, I'd think that turning up on the wrong day would be a strike against you. Keep your fingers crossed.
That's funny, I've never heard of anyone going to an interview a day earlier buy hey, it is a strange world. LOL!
It would be wise to always come on the day you're scheduled to come and to be on time. You're lucky that the interviewer was available to see you.
I write down the days and times of all interviews and I check my calendar every night just to know when my next interview is scheduled for.
