Injured On The Job

    I was injured on the job a couple months ago. I slipped and fell hard hurt my leg but I was never compensated. I filled out the appropriate paper work but haven't heard anything.

  2. My sister was injured on the job once and she had to fill out lots of papers too. Then, the insurance or workers comp sent her to a doctor who also had to fill out forms. Eventually it was officially determined to be true that she was injured while on the job. It took a while but she finally did get compensation.

    It does take time to get everything set up. You;re suffering at home and everyone else take's their time.

    It took my father weeks to get things accomplished.

    You need to first contact the Human Resources department that takes care of these issues. Be sure you have documentation from your physician and be ready to see a doctor they choose, unless your state doesn't require this, before you are compensated for any lost time.
