Friends Finding Jobs For You

I have decided that the best way to get a job is if a friend recommends you for a job at their company.

If your friend has a good reputation at the firm then things are pretty good that you will get the job.

I've had at least three great jobs during the course of my working years that I got through a recommendation from a friend. The interviews always went smoothly and the interviewers were very friendly.

Have gotten a job through a friend and did you find it easier to land the job?

Yes, that has happened, but that doesn't always mean you'll like the job. I've also gotten jobs from former co-workers recommending me. I think that happens far more than just friends.

True, former co workers can help get jobs too. Of course you might not like the job but that's the way it is with any new job you take. You might like it, you might not but at least you have a job.

I was looking and looking and could really find a job that I really wanted to work at until a friend of mine recommended that I apply where she was working.

I haven't ever had a friend recommend me, probably because I have never asked anyone to do so!

    I am extremely independent.
