		<description>Hello

The types of jobs I&#039;m applying for require me to complete a lengthy job application form rather than submit my CV. I&#039;m asked to state my current salary, but I would rather not as when I took my current job I accepted a pay cut (which I deeply regret) and feel strongly that my current salary does not reflect what I really should be paid. How do I tackle this on the application forms and at interview? I don&#039;t want to mislead anyone, but I also would rather not disclose to them my salary.

Do employer references carry salary information?

Thanks
