Employment taskforce set up to provide assistance to former Tiny / Time staff

This week, in excess of 1000 workers were made redundant following the collapse of Granville Technologies (the makers of Tiny and Time PCs) after the company defaulted on loans from HSBC.

The employment taskforce, formed by local authorities, business groups and skills agencies across East Lancashire (an area with already higher-than-average unemployment figures), will provide ongoing advice in relation to job hunting and training.
