The CV Store Launch a RSS Feed:
What is RSS?
The main aim of RSS is to allow you to subscribe to a site that regularly update their content (like our Blog page).
Not all websites currently use RSS, but it is growing rapidly in popularity and many sites, including the BBC provide RSS. The CV Store are the first CV writing company to provide RSS to enable visitors to keep informed of our ever-growing articles.
How will it work on the The CV Store’s site?
Every time we update our site with new articles, the RSS will update to show you that material has been added. This is, of course, free!
But how do I get the feed?
There are two ways of subscribing to our service.
1) Download a RSS reader such as Feedreader from www.feedreader.com and add our feed by copying and pasting this link http://www.thecvstore.net/RSS/rss.xml
2) If you use Firefox, Opera and Safari, these browsers have functionality which automatically picks up RSS feeds for you – just click on the Orange button normally located in the corner and select “Subscribe to The CV Store Blog”. You will then find us in your favourites – with new pages displayed daily!

For more than 30 years they have celebrated the role Accountants play as key drivers of business landscape, helping them to do their job and develop the skills they need to progress their careers. Only recently has their role as key decision-makers within business and through their practice advisory role been widely realised and acknowledged.
Acting for their employers in business, or on behalf of their clients in practice, they are actively involved in areas as diverse as IT software and hardware, fleet, employee benefits and financial services. From newly qualified Accountants to senior partners in practices and FTSE 100 companies, Accountancy Age is their primary source of news, information and jobs - an essential part of any business media schedule.
6 out of 10 finance professionals quote reputation in market as a key factor in attracting them to a company (NOP Survey 2002) and Accountancy Age have been helping Accountants find their jobs for over 30 years. As the industry’s most recognised and longest established brand, they remain one of the first places Accountants look to when thinking of moving jobs.
For the past few years we have been using an online questionnaire for clients who do not currently hold a CV. We have found a few problems with this, such as people losing internet connections or accidently clearing the form before submitting.
To combat this, we have compiled a Microsoft Word version of the questionnaire. This will enable clients to save the file on their computer and complete it in their own time.
If you feel the online questionnaire was a better idea we would like to hear from you!
