Following on from some earlier posts we made in relation to lies on a CV, we thought we’d find out how common lying is.
We asked 100 users of the popular online networking tool, Facebook if they had lied on their CV. The options we gave were:
Lied about qualifications
Lied about employment history
Invented some interesting hobbies
Lied about something else
Never lied
The results were as follows:
Email at work
The BBC reports that The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in Swansea has finished an inquiry into the circulation of “inappropriate” e-mails, some pornographic, at its offices.
Out of 5000 staff, the DVLA say that a total of 18 people were dismissed and a further 147 officially reprimanded.
